My team is committed to helping you and your residents during these tough and uncertain times. I wanted to send you an update on our company's response to the rapidly developing COVID-19 situation and also make sure you had my direct contact info. I want to be a great vendor and partner for you.
Pest control has now been officially designated as an "Essential Service" for COVID-19 by the Department of Homeland Security because of its role in public health and sanitation. Controlling pests that cause health conditions like rodents, fleas, roaches, bed bugs, and stinging insects will be especially important as people are quarantined or sheltering in their homes and apartments. This means we will continue to provide pest control services to your property, and we're putting contingency plans in place to provide continuity of services.
We are committed to handling your pest control requests from residents during this COVID-19 crisis. We realize some residents may prefer to wait for service due to COVID-19 concerns, but there are other residents who have severe infestations, medically harmful pest issues, allergies, or other kinds of emergency service requests they will need handled. We will also continue to complete exterior Treatments on the outside of your buildings. Strong pest control barriers will stop most common pests outside before they become issues for residents inside of buildings this spring and summer. We are heading into peak pest control season.

I should mention that my technicians in-the-field are taking extraordinary precautions and wearing full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including disposable gloves, respirators, and professionally sanitized uniforms. This is for the protection of our team and your residents. We are highly experienced in these type of PPE protocols in the pest control industry, and the health and safety of your residents and our team is our top priority.
On a personal note, I hope you and your family stay healthy and safe throughout all of this. We will all be holding our loved ones a little tighter these days and hoping for the best. As a small business owner, I will be working as hard as I can every day to protect the jobs, the paychecks, and health care of everyone on my team, day-by-day. It is not an easy situation, but if we stick together, we can get through it together.
Fingers crossed for us all that this is able to be contained and is over quickly.
